Your privacy matters. Learn how to delete your data from Kemex Player.
Privacy-First Design
Great news! Kemex Player is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to our servers. All your data (playlists, favorites, watch history, settings) is stored locally on your device only.
What Data We Don't Collect
No M3U playlist URLs - Your playlists never leave your device
No viewing history - What you watch is your business
No favorites or channel lists - Stored locally only
No personal information - We don't ask for or store names, emails, phone numbers
No login credentials - The app works without creating an account
How to Delete Your Local Data
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time using these methods:
Method 1: In-App Data Clearing
- Open Kemex Player app
- Go to Settings (⚙️ icon)
- Scroll to Privacy & Data section
- Tap "Clear All Data"
- Confirm deletion
⚠️ This will delete all playlists, favorites, watch history, and settings.
Method 2: Android Device Settings
- Go to your device Settings
- Tap Apps & notifications (or Apps)
- Find and tap Kemex Player
- Tap Storage & cache
- Tap "Clear Storage" and "Clear Cache"
Method 3: iOS Device Settings
- Go to your device Settings
- Scroll down and tap Kemex Player
- Tap "Reset App" or "Clear Data"
- Alternatively, delete and reinstall the app for a complete reset
Method 4: Uninstall the App
The most comprehensive way to delete all data:
- Long-press the Kemex Player app icon
- Tap "Uninstall" or drag to uninstall
- Confirm uninstallation
✓ This will completely remove the app and all associated data from your device.
Optional Analytics Data
If you opted-in to anonymous analytics (crash reports, usage statistics), this data is:
- •Anonymous: Not linked to your identity or device
- •Aggregated: Combined with other users' data for insights
- •Opt-out anytime: Go to Settings → Privacy → Disable "Help Improve Kemex"
To request deletion of analytics data, email privacy@kemex.app with your device model and approximate installation date.
